زائده
هر اندامی که از بدن بیرون آمده باشد. برای مثال، دستها و پاها زائده هستند. قطعات دهانیِ بندپایان اغلب برآمدگیهایی کوچک از بدناند که از اندامها مشتق شدهاند، و بنابراین زائده به شمار میآیند.
Any limb that extends from the body. Arms and legs, for example, are appendages. Arthropods’ mouthparts are often small, limb-derived extensions of the body, and so are considered appendages.
