ATP سنتاز

آنزیمی که ATP را «شارژ» می‌کند. مولکول ATP سنتاز درون یک غشا جای گرفته است. وقتی پروتون‌ها از میان ATP سنتاز از یک سوی غشا به سوی دیگر جریان می‌یابند، ADP به شکلِ «شارژشدهٔ» خود، یعنی ATP، تبدیل می‌شود.

Enzyme that “charges” ATP. The ATP synthase molecule is embedded in a membrane. When protons flow through ATP synthase across the membrane, ADP is converted into its “charged” form, ATP.
